FAQ's

Where are your throw blankets designed?

All blankets have been designed with a whole lot of heart by business owner, artist, wife, mum and proud Aboriginal woman Steph, who calls Meanjin (Brisbane), Australia home.

Creatively inspired by her surrounds and growing up on Kalkadoon land in Mount Isa QLD, throw designs include elements of traditional symbols, interesting shapes and nature inspired patterns, while also being influenced by people, places, nature, music and even her son's toys.

What are your throw blankets made from?

We are very proud to offer sustainable and thoughtfully made products.

Cotton fabric cutoffs from apparel manufacturers are collected, shredded and re-spun back into yarn, which is then used to weave these 100% Recycled Cotton throws.

How do I best care for my throw?

Extra Hints & Tips can be found here OR product specific Care Instructions are located in the product page under an expandable 'Care' heading.

________________________________

We LOVE that your throw can be machine washed.

Simply ensure it is popped on a cold gentle (delicate) cycle separately or if you prefer, you can wash by hand.

We highly recommend throws be line dried.

Due to the nature of woven blankets, you must take care not to hook or pull threads. If this does occur, with a pair of tweezers and great patience you can follow the thread along its woven path and gently pull it along little by little all the way to the end and trim - undertake this task at your own risk.

After you have washed your throw for the first time you will find the feel of the blanket softens and the weave may move or slightly shrink. This is the nature of woven cotton and cannot be avoided.
