Rachel grew up in Mount Isa, located in North West Queensland. Life has provided her with the opportunity to live in 3 different states, surviving the polar weather extremes Australia has to offer. Spending time residing in both cities and the country, Rachel and her family are enjoying the country lifestyle nowadays. Consisting of her husband, 2 yr old son and 2 fur babies; Rachel's family is her absolute world. Since taking time away from her career to raise her little boy, she has recently returned to work as an accountant part time. Juggling motherhood and her career, coupled with having anxiety, taking time to head out to find a comfy place to sit, relax and enjoy quality together as a family, is a luxury she makes time for.
When heading out for some fresh air on a picnic with her family, Rachel's must haves include:
- Wine, preferably white
- Cheese, Dips, Biscuits, Fruit & Chocolate!
- Comfy pillows
- A book for when Bub has a nap
And where are a few of her favourite spots?
'A lake, parks & beach are favourites. As a first time mum, picnics were held frequently and anywhere there’s a shady tree and some grass for Bub to play on.'
