Picnic Like Dom and Liv

Picnic Like Dom and Liv

Meet Dominic and Olivia!
Brisbane QLD
Videographer & Freelance Filmmaker and a Theater Nurse

Growing up on opposite sides of the world, Dom in the UK and Liv in New Zealand, they first met on a dating app but say it feels like they have known each other forever! They share many similar interests and love to live in the moment.

Dom is a trained filmmaker and has been operating his own Videography Business Dominic Murphy Moving Image for the last few years. He has clients from all over QLD and interstate working on big productions like TVC's to Short Documentaries and Social Media Content. His partner Liv is an amazing human being and recently finished her Nursing degree and has gone straight into her dream job as a theater nurse. She works on all kinds of surgeries big and small and despite the long hours, loves every second of it.

Although they both live very busy work lives from creating video content for various clients to saving peoples lives in surgery, they also have very active social lives. When they finally get to the end of a busy week, Dom and Liv love to enjoy a bottle of wine and cheese board by the river, dine at local restaurants, enjoy listening and hunting for records for their collection and taking trips to the beach (their favourite beaches are on Stradbroke Island). Spontaneity is ingrained within what they do and where they go together, as they try to make every day fun and exciting.

When heading out after a busy work week their must-haves include:

- Good wine, beer or gin
- A wide variety of cheeses with a good assortment of crackers
- A little treat of chocolates or fruits as a sweet dessert
- And they all need to be presented on a table of board, neatly placed on our throw rug

A few of their favourite 'go-to' locations to lay down a throw include:

- Southbank by the river where we watch the sunset and listen to live music
- Kangaroo Point looking at the city skyline
- Bulimba Park
- Home and cylinder beach on Stradbroke Island

When asked if they could picnic anywhere in the world, where would it be?

"Machu Picchu, Peru because we both would love our next big holiday to be South America and would love to see this amazing sight. It would be quite a picturesque spot for a picnic as well."
