Old School Punch

Old School Punch

I LOVED making and drinking punch all through my childhood and into my teen years, it always felt like such a fun treat!

After years of not thinking about it, since diving back into things that made me smile and happy as a kid, I've recently started making it again. On occasion I like to add a little dash of something extra *wink wink* but often it's been a great mocktail for parties and was even a big hit at my family Christmas.

Whether you have guests over for barbeques, birthdays or pool days, having a jug or large bowl of this punch ready to go ensures there is a fun non-alcoholic option everyone can enjoy, including the kiddies! 🔆

This is also a great base recipe to have fun and experiment with!  Here are some ideas to give it a little personal flare.
  • Feel free to change the lemonade to a different soft-drink flavour, mix up your fruit choices or add things like mint leaves to give a hint of flavour and colour.
  • I also think punch is great drink to be served with mis-matched glassware for an eclectic feel.
  • Thread fruit pieces on toothpicks to place in each glass for a special touch.
  • Why not try a raspberry lemonade, ginger ale and a mix of berries? You could even garnish the rim of each glass with a whole strawberry.
  • To make it a fun addition to a party, use paper or reusable straws and attach 'flags' in the party to each straw - these can also be personalised so no-one loses their drink.

Enjoy!!
