设计背后的故事...
我在与产后抑郁和焦虑作斗争时萌生了设计休闲毯的想法。生下我的第三个儿子后，我最初适应得很好，但当他 6 个月大时，我不再感觉像自己了。在寻求专业帮助并寻找自己的疗法之后，我重新发现了我对平面设计的热爱。
在我生活的各个领域，重点都是关注细节和调整正念——在简单的事物中发现美。该设计重点关注被黄色包围的花朵和太阳形状，就像色彩疗法一样，黄色有助于创造欢乐、自信和热情的感觉，同时有助于缓解抑郁情绪。五心的诞生就在于此，这次投掷被恰当地命名为“更好的日子”。
为了帮助支持可能遭受围产期焦虑和/或抑郁症的其他人，我们很荣幸将每售出的“Better Days”毯子中的 5 美元捐赠给 PANDA （澳大利亚围产期焦虑和抑郁协会）。

Note: Colours may appear differently in person due to photographic lighting or your monitor settings. Slight variations may occur during the weaving process.
Care
To ensure the longevity of your throw, please ensure you follow the below instructions. Incorrect care is at your own risk.
- Spot clean or hand wash with a mild detergent in cold water where possible.
- If you need to, machine wash separately on a cold delicate/gentle cycle. Front loader recommended.
- Please line dry only.
- Do not iron. Do not dry clean. Do not vacuum. Do not use harsh detergents. Do not use bleach.
Take care with sharp objects and avoid pulling threads. If this occurs, please use a pair of tweezers and some patience to gently pull this thread along, until you reach the edge and trim.
Please note your throw may shrink slightly after its first wash due to the nature of woven cotton.

The story behind the design...
I started the idea for designing throws while battling post-natal depression and anxiety. After giving birth to my 3rd son I initially adapted very well but when he clicked over 6 months old, I no longer felt like myself. After both seeking professional help and searching to find my own therapies, I rediscovered my love of graphic design.
In all areas of my life it became about focusing on details and adapting mindfulness - finding beauty in the simple things. This design focuses on flower and sun shapes surround by yellows, as with colour therapy, yellows help create the feeling of joy, confidence and enthusiasm while helping alleviate feelings of depression. Therein lies the birth of Five Hearts and this throw aptly named ‘Better Days’.

Such a happy design to use for all our bright adventures. This is my 3rd throw and one of my favourites because of the colour. The fabric is beautiful and easy too care for. I use it as a blanket when camping, a rug for the beach, and to decorate my bedroom.
I bought this throw a year ago when it was first released and it still looks just as great as when I first got it! I’ve literally taken it all the way to the Northern Territory, it’s perfect for snuggling at home but also for all your outdoor adventures as well!

I am absolutely in love with my Better Days throw. I had been following Steph for more than a year and knew I just had to order a throw from her and I FINALLY decided which one I wanted. Recycled fibres are a huge tick for me and the fact that $5 from each throw is donated to PANDA is even better.
I love the quality of this rug, it’s soft and well-made. Something I will keep forever, i’m going to buy some more throws in the future for friends presents. They really are beautiful and I love supporting a small business.
